01
Kandy
After arriving in Colombo continue traveling throughout Sri Lanka with your own driver and tour guide. You might be brought to Kandy the hilltop capital of the former monarchy of Sri Lanka. Visit the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage which provides care for sick or abandoned elephants if you're traveling through Kandy. From time to time one can spot an elephant swimming in the river. Travel towards Kandy making a stop at a naturally occurring lawn used for Ayurvedic purposes.

Kandy
After waking up in the heart of Kandy, relax at your guesthouse today. On your Kandy city tour, you'll explore the Royal Botanical Garden and Sri Dalada Maligawa, popularly known as the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic. The evening will feature a Kandyan fire dance performance.

Nuwara Eliya
On the third day of your trip, you'll go immediately to Nuwara Eliya, often known as Little England. You will climb through the jungle to the top of Ambuluwawa at the Biodiversity Complex. Kitulgala White Water Rafting is an option. A tea plantation, a manufacturing factory, and the Ramboda waterfall are all on your schedule. Sri Lanka, known for its Ceylon tea, has provided delight to people all over the world for over a century. As you arrive, Nuwara Eliya's colonial atmosphere, cottage-style dwellings, and fresh winter air greet you.

Nuwara Eliya
You have the option of lounging around the hotel or visiting Horton Plain National Park in the mornings. One of Sri Lanka's most magnificent World Heritage Sites is Horton Plains which you should see while you are there. Also available to visitors are boat safaris at Gregory Lake and golfing on the 18-hole Nuwara Eliya Golf Club course.

Yala
Head to Yala, a region renowned for its populations of elephants and leopards early on the fifth day of travel. Visitors can see almost every species of animal that calls this popular wildlife park in Sri Lanka home. Ella City and the Ravana waterfall are the stops on the route to Yala. Furthermore, you will embark on a Jeep safari at Yala National Park in the afternoon.

Hikkaduwa
Either Bentota Beach or Hikkaduwa will be your destination in the afternoon. If you glance at the wreck, you can capture some stunning pictures of a stilt fisherman. The Sea Turtle Hatchery project and the Galle Dutch fortress which was first built by the Portuguese in the sixteenth century and then reconstructed in the seventeenth century during the Dutch Colonial era are also located there. The best fortification built in Asia by European occupiers is the Galle Dutch fortress which is currently recognized as a UNESCO World Historical Site in Sri Lanka.
