Sigiriya
Traveling to Sigiriya on the second day after touring Negombo City. Stop by the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage en route. Kandy
Proceed toward the ancient center of Kandy Sri Lanka. Explore the well-known Dambulla Cave Temple a UNESCO World Heritage Site that is lavishly decorated with venerable Buddhist statues and murals. Discover the origins of traditional homemade Sri Lankan herbs by taking a field trip through the spice gardens. After a traditional dance in the evening spend the night in Kandy.

Respect the sacred Tooth Relic by paying a visit to the Temple of the Sacred Tooth. Take a stroll through the stunning Peradeniya Royal Botanical Gardens which are home to an array of different plants. Explore the gem museum and the Bathik silk shops.

Then continue to Nuwara Eliya which is sometimes called Little England because of its colonial ambiance. Fascinating Ramboda Waterfalls that tumble through a profusion of greenery will enchant you. Visit the factory and tea garden and learn the art of making tea. Standing on the Moon Plains will reveal an entirely new perspective of the surrounding mountains.

A train journey from Nanu Oya passes through tea plantations and jagged rocky hills that seem like they belong in heaven. After that, you may relax in your new accommodations.

Reach Ella and then Little Adams Peak for an aerial perspective of Ella and the surrounding area or climb Lipton Seat to take in the majesty of all the surrounding tea estates. When you visit Galle, the oldest city, you may see the historic cobblestone-strewn Dutch Galle Fort, which is a UNESCO World Heritage site. Spend the night in the old city of Galle to round out the day!

See firsthand the conservation efforts undertaken to preserve endangered species of sea turtles by visiting a turtle hatchery. Steer clear of the mangrove forests and tiny islands as you cruise alongside the stunning Madu River.
