Day 01
Negombo
Your journey starts as you arrive at Negombo, a seashore city known for its colorful fish markets and exquisite beaches. After settling into your accommodation, make an effort to loosen up and take in the beauty of this beach city.
Day 02
Kandy
Journey from Negombo to Kandy stopping at Chilaw to observe the historic Munneswaram and Mannarwari temples. Considered holy pilgrimage sites, these well-known Hindu temples pay homage to Lord Shiva. When you arrive in Kandy take a quick tour of the city to see some of its cultural landmarks like the revered Temple of the Tooth Relic and the stunning Kandy Lake.
Day 03
Nuwara Eliya
Go to Nuwara Eliya sometimes called Little England to hold your religious adventure as it boasts an English-inspired culture and serene environment. Visit the important Hindu pilgrimage sites associated with the Ramayana epic like Shri Bhakta Hanuman Kovil and Seetha Amman Kovil.
Day 04
Bandarawela
Once you're done with Nuwara Eliya head to Bandarawela, a quaint hill village surrounded by verdant tea plantations and misted mountains. See Gayathri-Pedam, a serene Hindu shrine dedicated to Goddess Gayathri and Divurumpola the place where Sita is supposed to have met the Agni Pariksha in the Ramayana.
Day 05
Kataragama
Ella is someone that anyone looking for adventure should check out. Beautiful surroundings and tumbling waterfalls are the main draws of this quaint little village. See the Ravana Falls which drop more than 80 meters in height. Furthermore, don't miss the intriguing Ravana Caves which are thought to be the demon king Ravana's hiding place from the Ramayana tale. After taking in all of the beauty proceed to Kataragama, highly significant holy site revered by Muslims Hindus and Buddhists.
Day 06
Colombo
Visit the well-known Lord Murugan temple to get a sense of Kataragama’s spiritual atmosphere. Explore the distinctive coastal area of Ussangoda the site of Hanuman's alleged landing during his quest for Sita. Explore the historically significant Rumassala Temple in Galle before finishing the day at Sri Anjaneyar Temple in Colombo and Seenigama Temple in Hikkaduwa.
Day 07
Departure
Bring back wonderful memories of religious sites, cultural landmarks, and breathtaking landscapes as you journey to Colombo. You will finally depart!
